Teaching: A strategy of gaining knowledge
Today, I am going
to discuss about “Teaching”, when we are hearing the word Teaching, we keep in
mind another personality like mastery. Many scholars say that Teaching is a Noblest
profession. On the other hand many scholars say that teaching is a
complex profession, but I will say it’s easy and comfort profession. If you
know the techniques and strategy of teaching profession, how will teach the
students and how will manage the pupil or students. In short if you have skill
then you will enjoy your profession in any situation. Actually teaching depends
on a person and his or her situation. According to person and situation
teaching vary, acquiring knowledge also. We don’t know what situation will be coming
in front of us but according to upcoming situation we will handle this by
various type of techniques and strategies. If you don’t have any skill then
teaching is tough and complex as well as complicated.
In short we can’t define or determine. but according
to my point of view teaching is an activity of classroom teacher in the
classroom. Acquiring of knowledge is called learning. Teacher will do this type
of techniques in the classroom it’s called teaching.
As a example
when a teacher takes some strategies for teach me ABCD, then teacher activities
are called teaching. It's a process of acquiring knowledge but when I will
learn through his/her strategies it`s called learning.
Some scholars are defined ‘Teaching’ Edmund Amidon
says ‘Teaching is an interactive process primarily involving classroom talk who
is takes place between the teacher and students and the students acquire
knowledge.
HC Morrison says that ‘An intimate contact between a
more mature personality and a less mature one who is design to future the education
of the letter.
TP Green says
that Teaching is the task of a teacher which is performed for the development
of a child.
The main aim of teaching is to bring about socially
desirable behavioral changes in the students and can be achieved only if
teaching is effective and can only be possible if the teacher is efficient.
